Spanking

This site seems to be becoming more and more of a spanking site....I have to say that I prefered it the old way when spanking was mentioned as only a small part of some Taken In Hand style relationships as opposed to the main topic of discussion as now.

Still like the site....just adding my thoughts!

Article that should be moved to the front page

“I won't settle for anything less,” a readers' forum post by fyrespryte on 2006 Jul 14 - 00:51, definitely should be on the front page!

What is the longevity of Taken In Hand?

I am not in a Taken In Hand relationship and I am curious if this is short-lived? Such as Random and his great articles but now, where is he? It made me wonder if this lasts for a year or so until a fantasy is full-filled.

Every woman seems so intelligent and the men loving...I haven't been turned off at all. I had never heard of this until stubbling onto the site and I have found that I can relate to most of what is being said.

Thanks.

Short-lived

I don't think it's the relationships that are short-lived, so much as some people's interest in this site. I think people probably run out of things to say. This is not something that has happened to me so far. Or they may just be too busy with other things.

Of course, some Taken In Hand relationships probably do collapse, just as any relationship can, but I think that probably isn't the reason, in most cases, why people stop posting. I think they lose interest in the site rather than the relationship. That's what I've always assumed anyway.

I belong to a lot of Yahoo groups that are about non-erotic subjects, and there too you get people who join and post for a while and then disappear.

Re: What is the longevity of Taken In Hand?

A bit late replying but have only just seen princess4rev's May 25 2007 post asking about me. The bad news is I don't get to the site much now but the good news is that my wife and I have now been married nearly a year and still going strong in our Taken In Hand relationship.

Take care.

Consent

My wife and I have a Taken in Hand Relationship but I think she has given consent just to avoid losing me or by her thinking I would find someone else if she didn't.

Has any one ever written on this subject?

She says she wants a Taken In Hand Relatioship but I have my doubts.

Re:Consent

Take her at her word, but do so CAREFULLY.

Do what she CLAIMS she wants in SMALL steps. Be aware of any of the TINIEST possible resistence. Should she seemingly express the slightest resistance to your attention, BACK DOWN and reassess your relationship.

Remember, YOU are at risk for everything you do. Her resistance could mean the claim of rape, which risks conviction due to ANY evidence of a physical OR psychological nature.

On the CONTRARY side, should you desire his attention, his attraction to you may very well be attenuated by the above listed legal threats.

Woman, if you desire him and he rejects you, bear in mind that his decision may not reside on his desire, but rather your truly lethal threat to his access to "life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness".

Whilst many men will defer to the temptation of easy availability, the TRULY careful ones, the ones WORTH having, will resort to simple masturbation, since there is nothing safer.

Personally, I would prefer nothing else than the expression of my personal desires when presented with an available woman. But, such an available woman has yet to gain my trust.

Pardon me for being crude, but I will NOT bed a woman who has not first accessed my trust. I am not a flirt, nor do I throw sexuality around as a toy. This may conflict with my desire to treat my desired one AS a toy. But, in truth, there is NO conflict. I have NO desire for any woman who has not committed herself to me.

This is a RIGID hallmark of my desires, and is NON-negotiable.
