Currently there is such a problem with attempts at spam posting that we have been forced to institute a policy of allowing posts only from registered users of the site. You are welcome to register whether you love or loathe Taken In Hand – this is not about ensuring that all users agree with Taken In Hand – we love thoughtful criticism – we just need to keep out spammers and haven't come up with a better way.

Before you register be aware that this is not a sex site, a spanking site, or a D/s site, it is a site specifically focused on the Taken In Hand relationship. Please read the overview, take the tour and read the posting guidelines page before you post.

If you would like to create an account on this site, send an email message to admin@takeninhand.com. Make the subject line of your message: "Account sought for Taken In Hand". In the body of the message state:

1. whether you want a male or a female account name, and whether you want the name to be as close to your real name as possible, or one that does not resemble your name. Also state:
